If you didn’t know, I have quite a collection of bondage equipment. It pretty much consists of wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, and the like. But, what I don’t really have are many thigh cuffs.

This is typically because I use rope if I need to bind thighs. Thanks to the awesome people at UK’s Honour, a pair of HNRX ES Bondage Rubber Thigh Cuffs made their way to me, as well as a few other items I’ll be writing about in the very near future. The HNRX range of restraints were launched to celebrate the company’s 30th birthday, and it is a fantastic range of excellent quality equipment.

For those of you that don’t know, Honour is a UK company that has two physical shops in Watford and Waterloo. They sell an incredible variety of BDSM products, kinky clothing, and more. They do ship globally, and you can find them at www.honour.co.uk.

Now with all this backstory out of the way, let’s get started.

One of the first things you’ll notice, is that the rubber has a very distinct smell — a bit like car tyres. While the smell is indeed noticeable, it’s not too offensive. The rubber has a satin sheen on the outside and a more buffed texture on the inside, giving the cuffs a leather-ish look to them, which I liked a lot. There is a ridiculous amount of length to each cuff — the product description on the Honour website states the product ranges from 33.5 to 42cm (approx. 13 – 16.5in) in circumference. Whether you’ve curvy or skinny thighs, I’m sure you’ll find that there is a fastening setting that works for you, as there are ten fastening holes on the cuffs.

Each cuff has a D-ring near the buckle and another at the midpoint of the cuff, with flat, shiny silver studs on either side. These rings give the option of being restrained wrist to thigh either at the side of the thigh, or at the front or back of the thigh, depending on how you position the cuff. You could even restrain ankle to thigh if you positioned the cuffs and D-rings properly. I’m sure those of you more experienced in bondage and restraints could come up with loads of ways to restrain someone with these cuffs, but for the sake of this review, I stuck with basic methods.

And rather than a standard buckle fastening, the HNRX ES Bondage Rubber Thigh Cuffs have lockable buckles, and while I didn’t get them in the box I received, the Honour website says the cuffs come with two mini-padlocks to lock the cuffs in place. You might have to play around with cuffs a bit, to get them to sit the way you want on your partner. I found that the cuffs slipped a bit whilst putting them on. I had to tighten them more than I wanted, which made them pinch her skin. I’m not sure if not sure if it was me, or the manufacturing, but it’s definitely something you should pay attention to.

The HNRX ES Bondage Rubber Thigh Cuffs retail at £34.99 ($45.50 USD), and I believe these cuffs are well worth the price on looks alone. So far, I’ve enjoyed using the HNRX ES Bondage Rubber Thigh Cuffs in play sessions, and will definitely be using them again in the future.

Allergy Warning: These products are made out of Latex Rubber, so if you have an allergy to Latex, it would probably be best to steer clear of them.

Have you had a chance to use the HNRX ES Bondage Rubber Thigh Cuffs? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. Let me know in the comments.

The HNRX ES Bondage Rubber Thigh Cuffs were sent to me by Honour UK in exchange for an honest review, which in no way influenced my opinions.
